Arrow book using Reminisce papers

I love these papers from Reminisce and just had to find a project to use them! This is the Road Signs collection. My husband, son, mother-in-law and myself went to Maine for Christmas last year to visit my mom. I had gotten a new camera before we left and I thought what better way to get to know my new toy then by taking pictures while in the car.

Now, that is easier said then done especially when taking pictures from inside a car moving at 65mph! I had a LOT of blurred images, but learned what several of the settings did during the trip.

Since I wanted to use these papers, I took some of my 'in the car' photos and set to work on the book. The My Word Arrow Album from BoBunny seemed the perfect choice for these fun travel papers. The front cover I used the 'Are We There Yet' paper which fit wonderfully and gave me a title of the book too.

<--This shot is of the book when it is standing up. The picture below is of the first pages. I used pictures of each of us in the car as the trip began. We had over 900 miles to go before reaching our destination.

The next page shows my mother-in-law and some of the beginning shots from the car.

I had great fun trying to capture images while speeding along. I managed to capture the 'Welcome to New York' sign which sat in the middle of the divided highway. I don't know how I managed to get it without getting the GPS or radar detector in the photo...

The picture with the speed limit sign came out clear as a bell even with us going 55 mph! This was outside my passenger window. Beyond the house were some factories and the ocean.

My son looked completely worn out coming home. The paper on the last page is absolutely awesome in person. It's called 'Infinity Detour'. All these papers are cardstock weight and double sided. I used some of the 3-D stickers, travel strips and carstock stickers. I had a blast doing this book.

The 'Road Signs' collection also has construction themed papers & stickers. Anyone needing travel or road construction papers will love these papers. Well I hope you liked this project, cause I sure did. If your LSS doesn't carry this line, you can order papers & stickers from my local store.
